Our Brand Story

Sitora began with a simple conviction: that the craftsmanship of South Asia deserves a place in the modern wardrobe — worn not once, but for years, and passed between the women who love it. We work with skilled artisans across South Asia, hands that have inherited their craft across generations. Every piece carries their work: the gold threadwork of zardozi, the white-on-white embroidery of chikankari, the ribboned shimmer of gota patti, the quiet rhythm of hand-block printing. These are not techniques we invented. They are traditions we are honoured to carry forward.

Each garment is made with intention. We choose fabrics that drape and move — silk, georgette, organza — and we let the embroidery speak rather than shout. The result is clothing that feels at home at a sangeet, an Eid table, a Diwali gathering, or any evening that asks for something considered. Luxury, to us, is not a price. It is care — in the making, in the detail, in the way a piece feels when you wear it. We bring that care to considered prices, so that heritage craftsmanship belongs to more women, not fewer. This is tradition,
reimagined.
